# Bigby.cloud

> Bigby is a UK cloud storage company offering private, encrypted file storage and collaboration for individuals, families and small teams. Files are encrypted at rest on UK servers. Bigby does not scan stored content, does not train AI on it, and does not sell or share user data. The service is funded entirely by subscriptions, with no advertising and no free tier.

Key facts:

- UK company, UK servers, UK data residency. UK GDPR is the governing framework. No US parent company and no exposure to the US CLOUD Act.
- Files are encrypted at rest on UK infrastructure. Bigby does not open, scan or read the contents of stored files.
- Stored content is never used for AI training, advertising targeting or analysis of any kind.
- Subscription funded and independent, with no venture capital. The business model does not depend on user data.
- WebDAV supported, so files can always be exported with standard tools. No lock-in and no export fees.
- Built on an open source stack.
- Paid plans only, priced per user per month in GBP. Annual or monthly billing, with annual working out at two months free. Available on web and desktop.

Plans:

All prices are per user per month in GBP. The annual figure is what each month
costs when a year is paid up front; the monthly figure is what each month costs
paying month to month. Annual billing costs the same as ten months of monthly
billing, so a year up front is two months free.
